Plenty to inspire you and maybe spark your own desire to join the adventure!

The winners

1st Prize

FaunAway

Agrosup Dijon

FaunAway is a connected solution to protect crops against pests while respecting biodiversity. It helps farmers reduce pesticide use by using a mobile device that drives pests away from fields. Combined with a connected decision-support tool, FaunAway aims to become an essential ally for both farmers and biodiversity.

2nd Prize

Trichodrone

École Centrale Lyon

The Trichodrone project is looking to the future: the challenge of eco-responsible agriculture! It offers a solution to the problem of using plant protection products. It aims to protect corn crops using biocontrols while reinventing the use of drones in the agricultural context: other systems are based around expensive and specialized drones; Trichodrone innovates a flexible solution that can be adapted to any “supermarket” drone. Trichodrone combines the promise of a healthier, more sustainable crop to provide a unique solution designed for farmers.

3rd Prize

Végét’eau

ISA Lille

Végét’eau uses phytoremediating plants to clean water polluted by agricultural fertilizers, preventing eutrophication. The system also generates plant biomass and recovers water through plant transpiration. Biomass production can help reduce carbon accumulation in the air. All of this takes place in a smart greenhouse capable of monitoring and controlling its internal environment.

The finalists

Agritreso

ESA Angers

Agritreso is an app that helps farmers anticipate cash flow variations in the short term, while also identifying medium- and long-term financial trends based on estimated or actual selling prices. Its goal: to reduce the stress and anxiety that financial monitoring often generates.

Devana

Vetagro Sup, SIGMA Clermont et ISIMA

Devana is a non-chemical system designed to protect wildlife in farmland. Biodiversity preservation is a major challenge, as mammals, birds, and even bees are often victims of farming operations such as mowing and harvesting. This device protects wildlife while ensuring full harvests for farmers—saving time and resources during fieldwork.

Connect’eat

AgroParisTech, MinesParisTech et UPMC

Every year in France, each person throws away about 7 kg of unopened, unused food. Connect’eat is a multi-platform app connected to a “smart fridge” that allows consumers to track their food products, monitor expiration dates, and even receive recipe suggestions based on the ingredients already at home.

PG-1

Polytech Nancy

With PG-1 (Protection for Ground – First Generation), the team aims to protect farmland from salinization. Climate change and rising sea levels are increasing salt levels in groundwater near coasts, making soils unfit for cultivation. PG-1 offers a plug-and-play system of supports and filters that purify irrigation water directly at the pump outlet, preventing salt buildup in farmland.

Pictopo

EBI et EISTI

Pictopo is an app designed to highlight the origin of food and its carbon footprint. By raising consumer awareness about the provenance of everyday products, Pictopo could, in the medium term, encourage large retail chains to adopt more local and sustainable sourcing.

OPTIM’EAU

CESI Le Mans

OPTIM’EAU addresses the critical issue of water waste in agriculture. This autonomous ground drone (AGV) uses sensors to irrigate crops only when soil moisture levels require it. By optimizing irrigation, OPTIM’EAU helps farmers manage water resources more efficiently and sustainably.
