How does it work?

To enter the challenge, just make sure you meet these three conditions:

You’re enrolled in a post-secondary academic program.

You’ve formed a team of 2 to 6 students, from the same or different schools.

Pre-selection

Between September 15, 2025 & January 5, 2026

Teams download and complete their application form, to be submitted by January 5 at midnight. This is your chance to lay the foundation of your project and show what drives you!

Project review

Between January 6 & January 15, 2026

The jury reviews all submissions, assessing relevance, innovation potential, and alignment with the challenge’s goals. At the end of this phase, 10 projects are selected.

Mentoring & project development

Between January 16 & June 19, 2026

Selected teams receive personalized support to refine their concept, strengthen their technical solution, and prepare for the final pitch. Experts, mentors and partners are on hand throughout this key stage.

Final presentations & winners announcement

June 19, 2026

Each team presents its project to the final jury during a dedicated event.
The top 3 projects are awarded prizes of up to €4,000.

Student Voices

  • It was such a great learning experience. We got to pitch our project at the Paris International Agricultural Show, discover some really interesting ideas, and receive valuable feedback from industry experts.

  • Make IT Agri gave us the chance to take part in demanding but rewarding exercises, like the elevator pitch. It also helped us build a valuable network of contacts to move our project forward.

  • Make IT Agri was an excellent experience. We got to present our project to a jury of experts and to many stakeholders from the agricultural world. The competition pushed us to make real progress, especially by strengthening our R&D approach. It also helped legitimize our project and gave us strong visibility, a real boost for the future.
