Water and nitrogen are the two most critical inputs for both the quantity and quality of agricultural yields. Water also plays a key role in enabling crop diversification on many farms. But today, the water-nitrogen equation is becoming increasingly complex, due to climate change and rising fertilizer costs.
On a field level, these two elements are closely linked: nitrogen can’t be effectively absorbed by the plant or made available to the roots without sufficient water.
A solution that helps farmers manage nitrogen and water together, in an integrated way, would be a real game-changer.
